Utilities

Utilities:  All utility bills need to be paid promptly or the service will be cut off.  Most utility bills are addressed to your landlord.  Utility bills are usually paid in cash at the nearest utility office or at any Post Office. If the bill is overdue, it cannot be paid at the post office and must be paid at the utility office.  It is now possible to have your utility bills deducted from your bank account.

Oil heat      Some building share the cost of heating oil and user should be aware of how the cost is assessed either by time or by amount used.  If you have your own tank, be very careful you do not let the oil run out because it is hard to restart the systems. Always measure the oil in the tank before and after delivery to ensure that the correct amount is delivered and charged. If you buy your own oil be aware that prices are much higher in the summer.  For oil, call one of the following for deliveries near your home.
